I helped a previous client market their education website, focusing on several niche keywords. I was assigned a small number of keywords which were fairly easy to boost up Google, but also provided a decent ROI. All keywords ranked in Google's top 5 spots within 3 months.
The biggest hurdle with this campaign was the lack of continuity across the website. Two separate content management systems used different templates and some of the basic onsite work had been missed completely. The campaign started with an onsite clean up to ensure the work carried out would be as effective as possible. The next step was to begin building content for the site and with which to generate links.
